Choosing the right university or college is the most important decision in your academic journey. It is extremely important to make sure your university is accredited if you decided to get a degree.

You may splash thousands of Pounds or Dollars or whatever currency and spend the best years of your life only to find out your choice wasn’t probably the best.

However, there is a thriving trend of fake colleges online recently. These so-called universities don’t consider themselves fake. And they prefer to use the term “private university” for themselves. They offer a wide range of degree programmes and they issue you a certificate after completion. And the issue is whether your degree which issued by a certain private university is recognised anywhere around the world or it’s just a piece of paper issue by a private company.

Still, you may get a degree from a private university with your hard worked and paying, usually higher than normal rate, tuition fees. But to be honest, it looks only waste of money and time when that degree is not recognised internationally. Unfortunately, many illegitimate so-called universities (mainly online) distribute fake degrees to tens of thousands of students around the world. This scam has become a multi-million business for many. People with fake degrees in the Western countries can face legal prosecutions if they present these sorts of degrees to their potential employer.
