The Dropping of the Atomic Bomb: A Military Measure
The social disorganization theory tries to show that the activities in a society that threaten the harmony and peace of the people can be attributed to many factors. The people residing in certain geographical areas with high crime rates will have a higher chance of falling into crime. The family processes that the individuals go through dictate the type of behavior that the individuals will portray, whether legal or not. Behavior such as delinquency is also attributed to the type of family processes that the individual goes through (Anderson, 1994). When the children end up being put in situations where their parents and guardians are not willing to take active measures to help them stick to their school to have a better future, it will lead to more children getting into the poor behavior that leads to the community being disorganized.
Violent homes also result in the creation of individuals who are not willing to work towards living within the morals that society has set. The neighborhood processes that are expected in society also determine the type of behavior that individuals show (Anderson, 1994). For instance, the community may be one that is filled with criminal activities, and it has been this way for many years on end. Since these neighborhoods have already established themselves as criminal locations, the individuals who grow up in such locations are more likely to fall into criminal behavior cracks. If the social structural processes are not streamlined to support a crime-free society, more individuals are observed getting into criminal behavior.
