Career Research Assignment

A career paper has enabled me to identify my personality and the career that best fits me. Based on my aptitude factors and personal interests, I have chosen a career choice in business administration. This career is perfect for those who want to develop in a demanding and fast-growing professional environment. A career in business administration will enable me to carry out various activities of the company ranging from marketing to finance. Besides, I will acquire fundamental business components such as business research, marketing, accounting principles, law and ethics, global business strategies, computer management, application, and economics and finance (Dam, 2019). Moreover, there is a demand for professional business managers, which attracted me to seek a career in this sector.

Besides, I need to have proficiency in market dynamics, data analysis, and I can comfortably handle finances and design policies for the effectiveness of the business operations. Business administration has exposed me to accounting, human resources, customer services, and information technology. I am sure that every company outside there requires individuals with such abilities. In addition, communication skills can be effectively sharpened by this career choice. For instance, I can give presentations, negotiate deals, and write emails and letters. Listening skills and appropriate body language are among the most critical communication skills I will gain (Broderick, 2020). In addition, a business administration career exposes you to self-employment opportunities. However, I do not have any plans to change my career. This is because looking at the requirements, outlook, and demand of the career in the market reaffirms that I am on the right career path. Above all, the business administration knowledge I have acquired through my studies needs to be put into action, not just mere abstract knowledge.
