I am fascinated by the fact that management has always been my number one in terms of my academics. Having grown up in a family that has a business running has given me the interest of knowing better because in a few years, I would love to take over this fortune and run it. This desire made me take an undergraduate course in International Business Management at the University of Lincoln of which I would love to learn in depth that is why I am willing to pursue this MSc Management at the Cass Business School.
My journey as an undergraduate has been of essence both in my career life and personal life. Since management is key in the world we are living in today and also an interest, I was keen to take the modules that were provided under it. I excelled in all and this provided me with irreplaceable know-how and greater interest to gain much acumen in regards to this subject in question. Modules such as ‘Academics Writing Skills’, ‘Mathematics and Statistics for Social Sciences’ and ‘Business Enterprise and Accounting’ have broadened my thinking, taught me valuable management skills and set me higher to pursue this MSc Management of Projects at your world class institution. Also, there are some modules under this programme such as ‘Accounting and Finance’ and ‘Principles of Marketing and Strategy’ among others that will in all faith be my stepping stones towards achieving my career goals and set me higher for achieving a desired future.
Apart from my academics, I have gained experiences that have in no doubt changed my perspective towards life and beyond. I have done much paperwork in companies. This enlightened me on how to arrange files in order, how to analyse outcomes and most importantly, how to provide solutions to problems through tough decision making. Being an ambitious person, I have a study group of which we meet often for studying in the library to study for many hours. This has undoubtedly taught me about hard work and teamwork which is key when pursuing this MSc Management at this great institution. Also, I have greatly immersed myself in reading books relevant in this career line. I have learnt how to strategise, plan and implement ideas. Learning by experience has also been part of me as I have been watching my parents take on the family business, they successes and failures have given me firsthand information about business management.
After completion, I desire to work with a world known company in the management department. This will give me skillsets that will enable me to be a valuable asset in the world of management. Afterwards, I desire to inherit the family business and soar it to a higher level.
Finally, this MSc Management at the Cass Business school will be the most suitable path for my career. The knowledge that I will gain from the experts at this world renown institution will be the most important for my future. Having all the academics qualifications, experiences and the burning desire to go through this programme, I believe that I am the suitable candidate for this course.
