The pandemic has caused severe consequences on the people as new policies have led to the cancellation of travel plans and hotel bookings, affecting the job and income security of hotel workers in Shanghai[3]. This study seeks to determine how China, and more specifically, Shanghai, can improve the economic state of the industry after the massive financial losses it has incurred.
